This collection contains photographs, films, documents, and other material documenting aviation in World War I. It also contains information about the 7th Air Force (with which Richard Fowler served) during the Vietnam War.

The collection arrived in good condition and was initially processed with only a container list as description. Due to a change of the content management system, further description proved to be necessary.

Biographical Sketch

Richard W. Fowler was born in Watertown, New York in 1946. He attended the University of Georgia, and served with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He later went to work at the BMW facility in Athens, New York. He passed away in 2011.
