Scope and Content

The collection arrived in good condition and was initially processed with only a container list as description within the Civil Air Transport (CAT) and Air America Small Collections. Some materials were on display. Due to a change of the content management system, further description proved to be necessary.

This collection contains ephemera, memorabilia, and a booklet that were collected by Donald M. Rinker during his employment with Civl Air Transport (CAT) and Air America, Inc. The archivist consolidated the materials and removed it from the Civil Air Transport (CAT) and Air America Small Collections and reprocessed the collection. The Donald M. Rinker Collection is housed in one non-standard box, totalling 0.8 linear ft.

Provenance Statement

The Donald M. Rinker Collection was donated to the History of Aviation Archives, Special Collections and Archives Division, Eugene McDermott Library, The University of Texas at Dallas, by Donald M. Rinder in multiple accessions from 1993 through 2004.
