Annual Report Collection
Scope and Content
This collection contains annual, quarterly, and half-yearly reports. This is an artificial collection composed out of several holdings of the History of Aviation Collection (HAC). The Annual Report Collection is housed in fifty-two boxes of varing sizes, totaling 21.3 linear ft.
The archivist established order and identified three series with the first series being the Aircraft Manufacturer Series, in which national and international manufacturers are represented.
The second series is the Airlines Series covering national and international airlines.
The third series is the Aviation Supporting Companies Series representing the avionics, transport, airport management, aircraft engines production and maintenance industries, aircraft sales and parts, services to airlines, defense and aerospace markets, travel industry, pilot and business organizations, research and development companies, information technologies, industrial and agricultural chemicals companies, fire protection, electronic and metal products, insurance and investment companies, radio transmission, aerospace engineering universities, flight safety, inflight motion pictures companies, and aircraft fuel companies.

Series Description
The Annual Report Collection is organized in three series:
Series I. Aircraft Manufacturer
4.9 linear ft. (twelve manuscript boxes and one mansucript folder), 1929-1993.
Arranged alphabetically by name.
Series II. Airlines
11.6 linear ft. (twenty-four manuscript boxes, one non-standard box, and eleven manuscript folders), 1930-2004.
Arranged alphabetically by name.
Series III. Aviation Supporting Companies
5.0 linear ft. (eleven mansucript boxes and six manuscript folders), 1945-1999.
Arranged alphabetically by name.
Provenance Statement
The Annual Report Collection is an artificial collection composed of materials that were pulled from various collections and orphan collections. Original provenance could not be established.

The reports are in good condition. The dates provided in the finding aid are date ranges and do not necessarily represent a complete run of reports.
