Scope and Content
This collection contains documents, reports, surveys, and other information generated by the operations of the Office of Undergraduate Education. The collection is housed in two half-size manuscript boxes totaling 0.4 linear ft.
The collection was received in good condition and the archivist identified four series: I. UTD Undergraduate Academic Program Planning, II. UTD Delphi Survey of Undergraduate Education Study, III. UTD Undergraduate Major Descriptions, and IV. Office of Undergraduate Education Administrative Files.
Series I. includes information about the development of undergraduate programs at The University of Texas at Dallas, as well as an issue of the undergraduate program newsletter.
Series II. contains the results, analysis, and reports about undergraduate studies students compiled as part of a Delphi Survey. (A Delphi survey is a method of gathering data by surveying a panel of experts to inform decisions).
Series III. consists of descriptions of the undergraduate major programs offered by UTD in the 1970s.
Series IV. houses handbooks, scholarship information, and information about the creation of a ceremonial mace for The University of Texas at Dallas.
