Abstract Robin David Steward Higham, a Harvard graduate, was a pilot during World War II and an instructor at the University of Massachusetts from 1954-1957, an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina from 1957-1963, and a Professor of History at Kansas State University beginning in 1963. His career at Kansas State University spanned from 1963-1999. He wrote numerous books and articles focusing on aviation, military, and geo-political subjects.

Abstract The collection includes biographical notes, incoming letters, letters of introduction, weather reporting sequences, short biographies of air traffic controllers, and clippings. The photographs in this collection document the history and personages of the early years of Dallas aviation.

Abstract The collection includes correspondence, newspaper clippings, military records, identification cards, as well as black and white photographs related to James H. Walker. It also contains several bound log books which cover Walker’s aviation career from 1930-1947 and 1947-1962.
