Abstract Robin David Steward Higham, a Harvard graduate, was a pilot during World War II and an instructor at the University of Massachusetts from 1954-1957, an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina from 1957-1963, and a Professor of History at Kansas State University beginning in 1963.
