Abstract Lew Burridge flew with the American Volunteer Group (AVG) before being hired by Gen. Claire L. Chennault and his Civil Air Transport (CAT) air carrier. Burridge mainly worked as an executive and a pilot in China supporting the Chinese Nationals in their fight against communism.
