Abstract Temple Bowen was a significant contributor to the development of public transportation from 1925 through 1936 in the Southwest and Midwest areas of the United States. Starting in 1927, he became one of the pioneers of early air transport development by establishing several airlines carrying air mail and passengers. Abstract

William G. Fuller was the first manager of Meacham Field in Fort Worth, TX. He was appointed to the post in 1927 and remained active in North Texas aviation throughout his life, from being Vice President of Globe Aircraft Company, to the Director of Aviation of Fort Worth and later Grand Prairie. The collection contains archival material collected by him, including personal and business papers and other materials accrued throughout his career in civil and military aviation.

Abstract

David W. Ostrowski has a life-long interest in airplanes and aviation history. He took pictures and collected photos from other photographers of U.S. and non-U.S manufactured military and civilian aircraft from World War I up to the jet age.

Charles Russell Tennstedt was a barnstormer and airline pilot working for Eastern Air Lines. He flew numerous airplanes and jet transport planes throughout his career.
