William G. Fuller was the first manager of Meacham Field in Fort Worth, TX. He was appointed to the post in 1927 and remained active in North Texas aviation throughout his life, from being Vice President of Globe Aircraft Company, to the Director of Aviation of Fort Worth and later Grand Prairie. The collection contains archival material collected by him, including personal and business papers and other materials accrued throughout his career in civil and military aviation.

He was the Director of Publications for the Institute of Aeronautical Sciences, the predecessor of The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, (AIAA). Shrader wrote several books and/or provided images from his private collection.
