Clarence Joseph Abadie, Jr. worked for Air America from July 28, 1960 to July 31, 1974. At the time of separation from Air America, Abadie's duty station was in Thailand where he served as Vice President.

He also starred in a 1937 motion picture serial titled The Mysterious Pilot. He was killed while testing an experimental aircraft in 1938.

The Royal Air Force Station Honington was part of the Royal Air Forces (RAF) located near Thetford in Suffolk, England and was used by the American Armed Forces (AAF Station 595) as a bomber station during World War II. William E. Shuttles acted as commanding officer of the VIII Air Service Command, Station 595 at Honington, England with the rank of Colonel. Through photographs the collection documents the history of the unit and the status of the battle damaged aircraft.

Burrell Tibbs is well known for his contributions to the early aviation period in the United States. Having been an apprentice to Benoist and working with Lester Miller on building an airplane, Tibbs was also a barnstormer and a pilot instructor in Oklahoma before and during World War II. He worked at the Boeing plant in Wichita, Kansas and celebrated the 50th anniversary of powered flight by flying a World War I Jenny from Bloomington, Illinois to Grand Prairie, Texas in seven days.
